Since it's the last day of the decade, today's Daily Training is the Huffington Post's compilation of the dumbest quotes of the 2000s. Don't be surprised if a few of them don't make a lot of sense--that's why they're on the list. A note on the first George Bush quote: the expression he wants to use is "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." Enjoy and have a happy new year!
First, some vocabulary (not so much since these are dumb quotes!):
- K-12 (kindergarten through the 12th grade in school)
- OB-GYN (physician specialized in obstetrics and gynecology)
- bandwagon (popular trend)
- plod (walk slowly)
- inbred (breeding between close relatives)
